We plan to use the BCD system to obtain an independent calibration of Teff for early-type supergiants. As the calibration curves of the BCD parameters (ë1,D) into Teff are limited to the luminosity classes III, IV and V, we have to extend them in order to include stars of luminosity classes I and II. In the present work we present some preliminary results.eff for early-type supergiants.
