Resumen:
BL Lac objects are a class of active galactic nuclei characterized by presenting optical spectra without evident features; for this reason it is very difficult to determine their redshifts (z). In this paper we perform a spectrophotometric study of the environment of three BL Lac type objects: 3C 66A, PG1,553+113 and PKS0332−403, using data obtained with the Multi-Object Spectrograph and Camera, instrument at the 8 m Gemini North and Gemini South telescopes. The analysis of these data allows us to detect galaxy cluster candidates with redshifts of 0.34, 0.265 and 0.101 respectively. Therefore, we discuss the probability of membership of the sources studied here to these structures.
