Resumen:
We analyze the influence of a dipolar magnetic field on the atmospheric structure of B peculiar type stars. We compute LTE synthetic HeI line profiles considering non-ideal effects in the gas equation of state and the direction of Lorentz force. We find that the Lorentz force may partially explain low-amplitude variations in the line profile. We also discuss the contribution of radiation and Lorentz forces to diffusion processes.
