Resumen:
We analyze the effects of feedback from Active Galactic Nuclei(AGN)on the formation and evolution of galaxies, which is assumed toquench cooling flows in massive halos. We consider the semi-analytic model described by Cora (2006, SAG1) in combination with a cosmological Lambda CDM simulation. SAG1 has been improved by including AGNs associated with the presence of supermassive black holes (BHs). The model now considers growth of black holes (BHs) as driven by (i) gasaccretion during merger-driven starbursts and mergers with other BHs,(ii) accretion during starbursts triggered by disk instabilities, and (iii)accretion of cooled gas from quasi-hydrostatically cooling haloes.
