Resumen:
In the last few years, it has been shown that the energy injected byActive Galactic Nuclei (AGN) plays an extremely important role in our understanding of galaxy evolution. AGN feedback is responsible for the suppression of gas cooling in the center of massive halos, having strong impact on the color distribution of massive galaxies and the bright-end of the luminosity function. We analyze the effect of AGN feedback on the galaxy population using a combination of cosmological numerical simulations and a semi-analytic model of galaxy formation. This model includes gas cooling, star formation, and the contribution of energy and metals from different types of supernovae. It has been modified by the implementation of AGN feedback. This new model allows to achieve a good agreement with several observed galaxy properties. We present here results on the relation between black hole mass and host bulge mass, andthe luminosity function of galaxies.
