Resumen:
The cinematic of Planetary Nebulae in elliptical galaxies has shown weak evidence of dark matter in objects of moderate luminosity ($L approx L^*$). As thisresults are highly controversial, it is important to obtain independent mass estimations. In the last years, the study of Extragalactic Globular Cluster Systems(EGCS) and, in particular, their cinematic, has become a powerful tool in this area. The galaxy NGC 4697 is a prime candidate for such a check, as it is a nearby flattened {it low dark matter} elliptical with a large globular cluster population. We present the first results of a photometric study of NGC 4697 (Mosaic, GMOS y ACS), and from the analysis of radial velocities collected with Gemini+GMOS.
