Resumen:
We study the chemical properties of the intracluster medium (ICM) using a semi-analytic model of galaxy formation and evolution applied to cosmological N-body/SPH simulations of clusters of galaxies. Among the galaxy properties obtained from the semi-analytic model, we have the ejection rates of metals that pollute the ICM. The different chemical elements are distributed over the gas particles of the simulations located around each galaxy, tracing the chemical content of the intracluster medium in addition of the galactic population properties. The galactic wind and the ejected mass of each galaxy are calculated according to the instantaneous supernova rate during the galactic evolution and considering a multiphase treatment of the interstellar medium.
