Resumen:
Environmental effects are known to influence the properties of satellite galaxies in both, low-redshift rich clusters and intermediatedensity environments at z > 0.5. In this work, we present a new version of our semi-analytic model of galaxy formation SAG, which combines the effect of ram pressure stripping (RPS) on the cold gas disc of galaxies, developed in a previous work, with the gradual removal of the hot gas halo via the combined effect of RPS and tidal stripping (TS) when galaxies become satellites. This latter process allows a better agreement with observations of the fraction of red satellite galaxies that, in general, is overestimated by semi-analytic models that assume an instantaneous stripping of the hot gas halo.
