Resumen:
Many astrophysical systems are usually modelled by Hamiltonian differential equations or symplectic maps. Transport and diffusion in Hamiltonian systems with divided phase space is an unsolved problem. The behaviour of some statistical quantities of chaotic dynamics, in particular situations, resembles those of stochastic systems. In this work we try to understand the diffusion in deterministic systems with the help of a theory developed for stochastic systems.
