Resumen:
The formation timescales of the giant planets of the Solar System is still an unsolved problem in Planetary Sciences.In this article, and in the framework of the nucleated instability model,  we will analyze some conditions that lead to the acceleration of this process: its dependence on the size of accreted planetesimals and on the density profile of the protoplanetary disk.
