Resumen:
We have computed theoretical He I line profiles by means of LTE models for the photosphere of B stars. In these models we have taken into account the effect of the Lorentz force in the equation of hydrostatic equilibrium following the procedure Valyavin et al. (2004). We analyze the influence of a magnetic field on the line profiles. This mechanism can explain the variations in line profile and the stability of the continuum flux of some He-variable stars.We discuss the determination of abundances in magnetic stars.
