(charla) The study of topological phases has been of great interest in the lastyears. At the center of these studies has been the kagome antiferromagnet.Numerous models have been proposed in the quest for topological exoticphases, including XXZ anisotropy, further neighbour couplings andantisymmetric interactions. In some regions of antiferromagneticparameters, at the boundaries of classically chiral phases, recent studiessuggest the emergence of chiral spin liquid quantum phases. In this work,we contribute to this topic inspecting the low temperature behaviour ofthese regions in the classical model. We enhance the chirality of thesystem adding Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interactions and an external magneticfield. The competition of these interactions gives rise to a rich phasediagram, with different spontaneously broken symmetry phases. Mostnotably, for a significant region of parameter space the system acquires,by a spontaneously symmetry breaking, a net chirality. We close withcomments for future work on quantum systems.
