Resumen:
Several compositons of Mg 􀀀 TiH2 nanodispersions were prepared by mechanical synthesis under relative low hydrogen atmosphere pressure.Different milling routes were performed. Hydrogen sorption kinetics of samples with 20at % Ti were prepared starting from mixtures ofMg and Ti or TiH2 with different amounts of graphite, and afterwards submitted to several thermal treatments. A volumetric Sieverts apparatuswas used to subject the samples to many cycles of hydrogen uptake and release under different pressure and temperature conditions, between240oC to 300oC and pressures between 3bar and 10 bar. Desorption was also studied using Differential Scanning Calorimetry under hydrogenatmosphere. Characterization was performed by means of SEM microscopy and X-Raydiffraction.
