Resumen:
Al coatings with thickness (x) up to 20 microns were deposited by DC sputtering atabout 375 K on both sides of amorphous metglass 2605 S2 precursor melt-spun ribbons.Spin reorientation e ect, induced by magnetoelastic e ect, was clearly observed in theAl/Metglass2605 S2/Al trilayer samples by measuring the 2 and 5 line intensities of theMossbauer spectra obtained at di erent temperature. A magneto-mechanical coefficientthat measure the rate of spin reorientation with respect to the temperature was obtainedand these are equal to -0.15 o/K and and -0.28 o/K for the Al thickness of 5 and 20microns, respectively. At 12 K, oriented spin fraction relative with the ribbon plane canbe controlled by adjusting the Al thickness. A phenomenological model has been usedto estimate in-plane magnetic anisotropy lower than 3 kJ/m3 for the Metglass 2605 S2ribbons. 10% of the ribbon volume is associated with irregularities, defects and so onand it has energy anisotropy higher than 20 kJ/m3.
