Resumen:
The derivation of the interaction Hamiltonian of an electrically neutral magnetic dipole with an external electric field  for the Heisenberg-Euler effective Lagrangian is briefly reviewed. We argue that the electric dipole moment emph{induced} by these non-linear interactions opens a new pathway to experimentally observe for the first time a signal due to these tiny non-linear effective electromagnetic field interactions.
