Resumen:
Our protagonist here is the electronic contribution to the canonical ensemblepartition function of the hydrogen atom. It is well known that it poses an intriguing paradox,[J. Math. Phys. {f 36}, 1208 (1995)]. Weattempt to solve it by appeal to a mathematical zeta function´sregularization technique.
