Resumen:
Delta_a
photometry is a valuable tool to detect magnetic chemically peculiar stars in
an economic way due to their characteristic flux depression at 5200A. Our main
focus of attention is to survey galactic open clusters, to identify a
sufficient large number of chemically peculiar cluster stars. Since open
clusters offer the big advantage that the parameters like the age or distance
can be determined rather accurately, one can trace relations of their
occurrence with age and other properties. On the basis of about 80 open
clusters covered so far with delta_a photometry, we present a preliminary
analysis, with shows the evolution of magnetic chemically peculiar stars. A
part from the galactic representatives, delta_a was also already able to discover
them in another environment, the Large Magellanic Cloud. This nearby galaxy
exhibits different properties than the Milky Way, which can be additionally
used to investigate the favouring conditions fot the formation of chemically
peculiar stars.
