Resumen:
The Angosto de La Quesera (Salta Eastern Cordillera) is a typical locality of the Lower Paleozoic geology of northwestern Argentina. Recent field work has provided additional material that was processed for conodonts with positive results. This contribution provides the taxonomic description of Nogamiconus sp., Problematoconites perforatus sp., Drepanoistodus sp., Oneotodus sp., Scolopus filosus sp., Teridontus nakamurai and Variabiloconus sp., as a part of a conodont association that defines a pre-Paltodus deltifer Zone. The material is better delimited as a part of the Cordylodus angulatus and/or the lower sector of the Rossodus manitouensis Zone. Microfossils allow to detail on the dating of the Devendeus Formation as Tremadocian (Lower Ordovician).
