Resumen:
The target of the research proposed here is:The design and preparation by lithography of electrodes made of materials such as cellulose and cellulose acetate, combined with glutaraldehyde, chitosan, polyvinylpyrrolidone, xanthates, in order to determine heavy metals in industrial process waters by electrochemical methods.Optimization of the figures of merit in the use of these electrodes in the determination of heavy metals in industrial process waters.Preparation of simplified systems to model the behavior of the sensors.Characterization of the physicochemical structure and structure-function relation for the modified surfaces (both full electrodes and model systems) and study of their interaction with the different heavy metals.Design and optimization of columns for removal of heavy metals and subsequent determination.
