Resumen:
Predicting the detailed effects of variants on the structure and function of a protein is a critical problem to be solved in drug discovery and personalized medicine. Thesevariants can influence drug selection and provoke a variety of effects on the protein behavior A considerable portion of variants effects will result in subtle phenotypiceffects that are challenging to predict. VarQ was developed with the aim of giving to the user a full description of the properties of each variation, extracting knownvariants from reference databases and allowing the user to specify a set novel variations to be analyzed.
