Resumen:
Conclusion- Electrodeposition of copper in μ-g (drop tower or parabolic flight): results in good agreement with theory. However, experiments too short → no drenditic growth or very highcurrent density.- Ground experiments : observation of a transition between two dendritic growth regimes: transition occurs at the distance between the deposit and the anode where the applied current density is equal to the limiting current density. However, gravity still present.→ Obvious interest for longer experiments; higher microgravity quality would also be of interest.→ part of the project: JAXA-ESA Topical Team « Electrochemical Nucleation and Growth »
