Resumen:
In this work, we propose a competitive assay for the detection of endotoxins with a recombinant Endotoxin Neutralizing Protein (ENP) as recognition element, avoiding lymph, blood, animals as part of the assay.  This simple assay opened some new strategic works: synthesis of LPS-PROBES (enzymes and fluorophores) conjugates, design and construction of disposable electrodes and studies of platforms for electrochemical affinity assays that avoid non-specific adsorption of biomolecules.
