Resumen:
The potentiodinamic profiles of dimyristoyl-phosphatidylcholine (DMPC), dimyristoyl-phosphatidylethanolamine (DMPE), di-o-tetradecyl-phosphatidylcholine (DEPC) and di-o-tetradecyl-phosphatidylethanolamine (DEPE) monolayers was studied at 25ºC at growing areas of the hanging Hg drop electrode. The results suggest that the changes in area per lipid modify the energy required to reorient the polar head groups that is correlated to the interfacial water, lipid lateral interactions and the dipole orientation induced by the electrical field.
