Resumen:
Gold
concentrations in natural matrices are extremely low. Its quantification
involves a pre-concentration stage (fire assay and MIBK extraction) followed by
an atomic absorption spectrometric analysis. Usually, the pre-treatment process
is long and tedious, it requires a big amount of sample and it implies a high
risk of cross contamination. It also employs a good number of auxiliary
reagents that can produce interferences in the analytical determination.
In this work, we
studied a flow system with solid phase extraction (SPE) coupled to TS-QTFAAS. A
good analytical response was obtained through the optimization of both, the manifold
design and the operational variables, mainly those dealing with the type and
concentration of reagents for pre-concentration and release of the analyte.
