The decrease of the inner surface of the samplesmodified by heat treatment was due to the collapse of the interlayerthat also presents a small increase of microporous. The mechanicaltreatment broke the crystalline structure, with a significant increase inthe micropores. The higher adsorption of fungicide on the sampletreated mechanically, indicates the microporous surface is the main siteof adsorption. The analysis of the reflection peak d(001) of the initialand the thermal treated sample showed that the fungicide is alsoadsorbed in the interlayer surface.
