Within this meeting I´d like to propose a session that includes the zebrafish as biomarker organism and useful as an educational tool.The zebrafish (Danio rerio) model was relatively recently introduced to the science scene. Thus, while there is not a long history of using zebrafish as an educational tool, teachers around the world are developing many exciting methods using zebrafish in laboratory courses. Discussions, meetings and workshops about the ??Zebrafish in the Classroom?? are being done from at least the year 2008. There are a consensus that zebrafish will make a strong impact on education. Under de conviction that a direct experiences it is necessary to help to change the way that we understand the world, I believe that we should impulse the use of this model to teach environmental care.
