Resumen:
Vector transmitteddiseases are a priorityproblem and havebecomerelevant in placeswheretheywerenot previouslyimportant. In recentyears, our country has seenanincrease inthenumber of Dengue cases. Forth efficient control of this disease, itisessential to monitorthe vector bymeans of sensitivemethodsthat favor early and sure detection with precise, rapiddecisionmaking thatgivesrise to efficient control strategies. The objective of this studywas to follow the population of A. aegypti in the town of Diamante (Entre Ríos) and also tostudy the oviposition behavior of the female. Forthis, 11 campaignswere carried outbetweenthemonths of February and April 2015 in a total of 32 sites per sampling; a total of352 samplescollected. The IDO and IPO (indices)wereapplied and analyzed; as well asanalysis of variance (ANOVA) and simple linear regression. Therelativehumidity, temperature and rainfall data wereobtainedfromthemeteorologicalstation of CICYTTPCONICET. We observed that the oviposition of the female A. aegypti and the refore its spatial distribution is similar in the urban center as in thecity?s peripheralsurroundings. Even so, thespatialdistribution of theinfestationoccurs in thecity center area. The strictdependent variable fortheoviposition of thefemaleistherise in temperature.
