Resumen:
The main goal of this research is to perform a comparison of different ensemble based data assimilation schemes using an intermediate complexity global shallow water model. The comparison is focused in the analysis properties, but also in the properties of the different ensembles generated by the different data assimilaton approaches. In this work some preliminar results are presented. Different implementations of the ensemble Kalman filter are compared with a particle filter.
