Resumen:
The analysis of linear trends and the spectral analysis were applied to rainfall series in an area in central Argentina, using data from different sources. An annual cycle was present with maximum rainfall in summer and precipitation increasing towards the east. Annual and seasonal rainfall trends were calculated using the periods: 1961-2009, 1980-2009 y 1994-2009. Some relevant changes were found in rainfall behavior: a decrease of anual rainfall in the northeast of the area of study since 1994. The spectral analysis determined the presence of 15 years cycle in the same area.
