Resumen:
Austenitic Stainless Steels are widely employed in Biomedical, Food & Beverage, O&G industies. It presents excellent corrosion properties provided by high Cr and low C. One dwoback of this material is that it has low hardness and high friction coefficient HSurface modification allows to enhace wear and corrosion resistance.Duplex treatments provide the possibility to improve these propeties combining The main goal of the work was to compare adhesion, wear and corrosion resistance of of TiN coatings obtained with PVD + Implantation (PBII&D) coatings obtained with PVD + Implantation (PBII&D) on AISI 316L austenitic stainless previously plasma nitrided.
