Resumen:
In this lecture we shall discuss some viscous gravity flows in which we have been interested. They exhibit various self similar regimes, and illustrate the techniques needed to bring them in evidence. The main topics to be addressed are: the lubrication approximation and the porous media equation, the phase plane formalism, the point source solution, traveling waves and the dam break problem, the collapse of a circular cavity, quasi self similarity, non-Newtonian viscous gravity flows, steady 2D viscous gravity flows.
