Resumen:
We present a systematic study of the global properties of steady rectilinear pendent rivulets running under an inclined plane. The shape of the free surface is obtained solving the Young-Laplace equation. Then the velocity field is found integrating numerically a Poisson equation. Thus we obtain the solution for various contact angles and for a wide range of the volumetric flow, we examine their global properties, and we discuss their stability.
