Resumen:
Asteroid polarimetry has experienced important ad-vancements in recent years. This includes the discov-ery of new classes of objects, a new assessment ofthe relation between geometric albedo and a varietyof different polarimetric parameters, the first attemptto use in situ analyses of asteroid (4) Vesta to bet-ter understand the relation between local surface prop-erties and disk-integrated polarimetric measurements, and the first applications of spectro-polarimetry to thephysical characterization of the asteroids. The mostrecent results in the above topics are briefly summa-rized.
