Resumen:
aims: We present the results of a taxonomic classification made using multiband photometry of Hungaria asteroids. The aim of this work is to make an analysis of the compositional diversity of this population. methods: Photometric observations for a sample of 334 Hungaria asteroids were extracted from the  Moving Object Catalog of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. The spectral slopes were computed by means of a least-squares fit to a straight line passing through the fluxes obtained from the Sloan observations, and the resulting spectra were renormalized to 6230 A. The taxonomic type of each object was found calculating the dissimilarities between the individual spectra and mean spectra representing the different classes.results: We found that a large number of the objects in our Hungarias sample are X-types as expected (59% of the sample), but we also found a large number of  C-types (26%), and S-types (9%) asteroids and a small number of objects belonging to other taxonomic types. The C-types are not originally formed in this region of the inner main belt, and their presence in this zone could be an indication that there is some kind of dynamical mechanism acting which is responsible to transport objects from the the main belt to the inner Solar System.
