Resumen:
Access to drinking water is hampered bypollutants in several developing countries.Therefore, the development of efectivetreatment methods for the removal ofpollutants in water is of paramountimportance. The design rationale of thisproject was to obtain an hydroflic networkwith permanent positive charge, as anadsorbent for negative charged organicpollutant. To attain this objective ethyleneglycol diglycidyl ether (EGDE) was mixedwith imidazole (IM) leading to a polyhydroxyether hydrogel with high adsorption capacityfor anionic pollutant.
