Resumen:
Incorporation of the safe pharmaceutical excipient CD to hydrophilic networks can open novel possibilities of development networks suitable as ocular bandages or SCLs that can host therapeutic amounts of a novel TSC that displays a broad antibiotic spectrum. The systems engineered provided a well-controlled sustained release for at least two weeks. Moreover, they inhibited the growth of two prominent bacteria associated with ocular infections.
