Between 2001 and 2002 Argentina experienced an economic/politicalcrisis without precedents in its history. Among the significant events, in a few daysthree presidents were succeeded and the population´s private funds wereseized in the banks. In 2003, the city of Santa Fe suffered a severe floodwhich inundated not only the suburban districts, but also thedowntown. About a hundred people dead.    Our interest was to investigate the resilient behaviours at the individual,micro and macro social levels, that emerged in the population to deal with the negative effectsperceived during the catastrophes.
