Resumen:
The present study revealed that spirituality and different aspects of religious attendance are positively related to prosocial behavior toward stranger, friend and family. Spirituality was the best predictor for all types of prosocial behaviors, specially toward stranger explaining 15% of the variance. It is important highlight that different aspects of religious attendance are associated with different types of prosocial behavior e.g. social connectedness with the church members (social aspect) promote prosocial behavior toward stranger while emotional aspects of religious attendance are associated with prosocial behavior toward friend and family.
