Resumen:
The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between positive emotions and empathy and emotional instability. At the same time the model studies the relation between empathy and emotional instability with prosocial behavior and aggressiveness. Finally, it is analyzed the influence of prosocial behavior and aggressiveness on social self-efficacy. The results have shown that positive emotions are associated with both cognitive and emotional aspects of empathy. The results highlight the important role of positive emotions as a protector factor from emotional instability. The findings indicated that prosocial behavior enhances in fact social self-efficacy beliefs. Aggressiveness on his part, has no effect on social self efficacy.
