The personal experiences of 4 years children have been considered. The stories were elicitated by two different topics. One of the topics, minor injuries, enables the occurrence of personal experiences in different script?s contexts; the other topic, fear at night, restricts the occurence of a specific event within the framework of a particular script. The texts were analyzed and compared according to the type of narrative, the use of narrative resources, the degree of structure and interaction with adults. The results showed differences between the different situations and different contexts. Implications for further studies are discussed.
