Resumen:
During the ending months of solar cycle 23, extended long-lived prominence cavity structures were observed in the solar corona. We analyze examples from Carrington Rotations (CR) 2065 and 2071. For those periods, we performed three-dimensional (3D) differential emission measure tomography (DEMT) of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) image time-series. From the derived 3D differential emission measure we infer the 3D distribution of the electron density and mean temperature, in the height range 1.025 to 1.225 Rsun. We use these results to place empirical constraints on the 3D structure of the observed cavities.
