Resumen:
F(R) gravity has been proposed among several other theories in order to provide alternatives for unsolved problems in modern cosmology. This theory modifies the Einstein-Hilbert Lagrangian replacing it by a function F(R) of the curvature scalar R. We construct a broad class of symmetrically spherical bubbles and wormholes in F(R) gravity by using the formalism of thin-shell and its junction conditions, which differ from those in General Relativity. The construction forces the equation of state at the matching surface. We analyse the stability of these static configurations under radial perturbations and we show that for certain range of the parameters of the theory, stable solutions can be found.
