Resumen:
In this work, we make use of the Millennium Simulation of structure formation to study the chemo-dynamical evolution of Milky Way Type galaxies within a Lambda-CDM cosmology.  We encountered that these systems may be described by a main progenitor which evolves by accreating smaller substructures.  Supernovae feedback seems to have regulated the evolution of these galaxies at high redshifts when the potential wells were shallower, while, at lower ones, the efficiency of star formation is mainly determined by AGNs.  Our results suggest that the dispersion of these galaxies in the mass-metallicity plane reveals differences in their formation histories,  However, statistically, we found evidences to support the Milky Way as a typical Sb/Sc galaxy in the same mass range, providing a suitable benchmark to constrain numerical models of galaxy formation (De Rossi et al. 2009).
