Resumen:
We investigate the effect of the transverse coherence length of an atomic neutral beam colliding grazingly with a crystal surface, after passing through a given collimating aperture, on the interference patterns. We found that by varying the width of the collimating slit or the impact energy it is possible to erase the periodic Bragg structure (inter-channel interference) of the diffraction patterns, leaving only the supernumerary rainbow peaks (intra-channel interference). In addition, we also include the contribution coming from different positions of the focus point of the beam in the SIVR approach, which helps to the quantum-classical transition of the projectile distributions.
