Resumen:
We have recently developed a novel technique (DEMT) for the empirical determination of the three-dimensional (3D) distribution of the solar corona differential emission measure through solar rotational tomography of extreme-ultaviolet (EUV) images time series (like those provided by EIT/SOHO and EUVI/STEREO). We have also extended the tomographic formalism to use data simultaneously taken from instruments in different spacecraft (like the twin EUVI/STEREO instruments), which allows for a reduced data-gathering lapse. The technique allows, for the first time, to develop global 3D empirical maps of the coronal electronic temperature and density, in the height range 1.00-1.25 Rsun. When applicable, DEMT constitutes a simple and powerful 3D analysis tool that obviates the need for structure specific modeling. In this talk we will review the recently published (ApJ) technique, as well as give examples of results derived of its application to specific EUVI/STEREO data.
