Resumen:
SHARAD (SHAllow RADar) is a ra-dar sounder capable of discriminating layers of differ-ent materials in the martian crust. Both its verticalresolution and discrimination capabilities depends onlayer relative permitivitty. Therefore, SHARAD is inprinciple not only able to detect subsurface layers ofliquid water and ice, but also some aspects of verticalstructure of the Martian crust. The objective of thiswork is to present evidence of the SHARAD capabili-ties to retrieve information about the structure of a faultzone located at North-East of Ismeniae Fossae. To thisend, we will use SHARAD data of the area, a Leebased adaptive filter and interaction model to interpretradargram structure.
