Resumen:
The helicity sign of the solar magnetic eld exhibits a hemisphericpreference. On a certain statistical base, it is negative (positive)in the northern (southern) hemisphere. In this work we study a set of activeregions, observed from 1997 to 2001, for which we can determine themagnetic helicity sign from the evolution of their polarities during  uxemergence. We con rm this sign analyzing the coronal eld of the studiedregions. Then, we combine this analysis with \in situ" observationsof the magnetic clouds associated with the coronal mass ejections thatoccurred in those regions. Finally, we nd that the helicity sign predictedby the distribution of the photospheric  ux agrees with the one observedat coronal and interplanetary level.
