Resumen:
The Carlos U. Cesco station, San Juan, Argentina, have had two solar instruments since the end of 1998: H-Alpha Solar Telescope for Argentina (HASTA) and MIrror Coronograph for Argentina (MICA). To complement the functionality of HASTA for the study of solar flares, filaments and surges among other events, a new refractor telescope called C-HASTA has been built to observe the sun in white light. During this work we present details of its construction, the first images and its capabilities to work either in full or partial sun disk. This new instrument will be able to observe spots, faculae and eventually the most energetic solar flares.
