Estudio del brillo del cielo nocturno en la zona del Observatorio Pierre Auger

Observations at the Auger Southern Observatory include measurements of some parameters related to the background signal of the fluorescence detector. These data were used to study the physics of the night sky background in the UV as seeing from Malarg¨ue. Absolute calibration of the variables involved in the measurements were performed to convert the detector signal to photon flux. The correlation with atmospheric emition of O_2 measured from CASLEO was studied and a simple model for the zenithal dependence was applied.
