Resumen:
Using simulations of major mergers in 3D, we study the rotation curves (RC) of interacting galaxies in pairs during the first encounter with the aim of reproducing and analysing features in the rotation velocity which could be attributed to the effects of the presence of a companion. We found that the asymmetry in the RCs could be used to estimate the occurrence of the peripassage within the last 0.5 Gyr.
